So you’ve been trying to get website traffic to your offers for a while now. You see others do it. And it seems like everyone makes it look so easy. But success keeps eluding you. Every time you get close to improving your online sales conversion, something happens and you end up back where you started.

Now, it seems like everyone’s buzzing about mobile apps. And maybe it has you wondering — what’s all the fuss about? I tell you what it is: People all over the world are getting amazing results in sales conversion from these things.

And they can’t help but shout it from the rooftops, apparently. I’m not talking about extraordinary people getting unbelievable results. I’m not talking about people who possess some sort of tech skill or special talent.

And I’m not even talking about big corporations. Instead, I’m talking about people who’re just like you and me. People who small business owners. People who want to reach the prospects and customers in their city or town with their brand, but it never quite seems to happen.

People who want online solutions that work for the average guy or gal. It’s here and any business can set one up. By creating a mobile app, you can offer your customers unique features that they can access right from their cell phone. Seems kind of hard to believe, doesn’t it? But the good news is that you don’t have to take my word for it.

According to the Journal of Business Research, their paper titled “Customer Engagement, Customer Equity and Repurchase Intention in Mobile Apps” reported that “The empirical findings suggest that mobile apps’ customer engagement positively affects customer equity, which further enhances the repurchase intention of existing customers.”

That sounds like a fancy way of saying that prospects and customers really took to liking and using mobile apps when businesses offered them as an option for making purchasing decisions. So, I guess when you make it super easy for people to buy from you; they do!

It isn’t just large restaurant chains who is reaping the benefits of increased sales conversion and customer loyalty from these apps. There are local folks like pizza parlors, beauty spas, wellness providers and others who tried for years to get better sales conversions. Maybe this sounds familiar?

Local businesses are finding out that their apps can help them learn from your customers: Being able to check responses from these apps shows the importance of customer feedback.

Knowing your users’ preferences is vital. By using the data from their app, small businesses can include more features that enhance customer service and purchasing convenience. Your services can be fine-tuned according to your customers’ tastes with feedback.

If you’ve been trying and failing to get your site ranking high on Google searches, you may showcase your brand another way. A mobile app can also increase your visibility. Combine this with messaging and you’ve got an unbeatable combination.

The number of mobile apps downloaded reached 258 billion in 2021, an increase of 45% since 2017. The industry expects to generate $156 billion in consumer app spending by 2022 because of the increased usage of mobile apps.

It’s pretty amazing, right? Considering many of the businesses that are seeing an increase in profits are run by people just like you and me, it’s even more amazing. Now imagine what your business can accomplish by getting its own app!

There are different apps that work for small businesses. You don’t have to spend $10,000 or more on an app that takes a year to develop. You don’t have to know code and burn the midnight oil doing stress tests.

There are plenty of companies online that offer app creation for small businesses. Most can customize an existing app in their collection to fit your needs. Many have created standard apps that are available by industry. They charge a flat fee for customization and a low monthly fee for operation and support.

Before you jump into the app revolution, decide what your goals are. Conduct some research into your market. See what others in your industry are doing. Set your budget for both app development and marketing. Shop your idea around and see what offers are in line with your objectives.

One way to find out what your customers would want is to conduct a survey. Promote the ad online and in your store. Find out what people would like to have in a mobile app for your store. They might surprise you with their responses.

Go ahead, take a moment to imagine what your business will be like if you were to get an app that increases customer convenience. What would it do? How would your clients and prospects use it?

By applying a few marketing principles to your own app, you can increase traffic and sales conversions. Lastly…

Once you’ve created your app, take a deep breath and start marketing it to everyone who qualifies. What if you end up with a flop? Don’t worry. Get back to the research step and get more feedback. Failing long enough to succeed is part of the process of running a business.

You’ll get the results you wanted if you stay with it and adapt. Research and improvement will get you there. Let me know if you’ve created an app for your business and the results of your efforts.
