Four Proven Strategies for Earning Immediate Income with Your Writing Skills

I’ve written about how new writers can get started on Medium. It’s a topic that came up again recently when my youngest son (who’s in college) stayed at our place for the holidays. He needs to get another part-time job to pay the bills.

I suggested writing jokingly (since he’s already up to his eyeballs in papers in his various classes), but he took me seriously. So I updated my list and looked for more off-the-beaten-path sources. This is the list I compiled, along with some suggestions. I hope you can benefit from this collection as well.

Promote Your Writing Skills

You can find many websites that offer freelance writing opportunities by conducting an online search. Here is a list of websites that you may find useful:

1. Upwork: This is a freelance job board that connects businesses with freelance writers in a variety of fields.

2. Freelancer: Another freelance job board where you can look for writing jobs and other types of freelance work.

3. ProBlogger: This website is geared toward freelance writers and bloggers, and it features a job board with writing opportunities.
