I'm constantly remided of the ner-do-well boyfriend who cheats on your best friend, promises the world and constantly borrows money from everyone around. No matter how often you point out how much of a disaster the relationship is, your friend keeps accusing you of hating such a "good man".

I for one would love to put his antics behind me and move on. Unfortunately, like a bad rash, the consequenses of his actions keep coming back time and again.
