How Google’s Suite Can Skyrocket Your Book Sales on Amazon

“Did you know that leveraging Google’s tools can transform your book sales on Amazon? Dive in to discover the secret sauce!”

Remember the time when Amazon was just a bookstore? Yeah, I was one of those early adopters a couple of decades ago. I even had a best-seller on there back in the day.

But today, I’m not here to take you down memory lane. Instead, I’m about to unveil how Google, the tech giant, can be your secret weapon in boosting those book sales on Amazon.

If you’ve followed any of my articles on content production, you know that marketing is paramount when it comes to publishing your work.

I’m as guilty as the next person when it comes to developing ideas that come up without first doing the research to see if they are profitable.

It’s a hard habit to break, but if you want to get cash back for your troubles, start with the research. Amazon and Google are great places to begin the process.

My primary marketplace for publishing is Amazon. It’s entirely possible to make a decent living on that platform. However, it means thinking like a marketing guru first and foremost.

In order to succeed, you need to master category market research. Even if you never actually write a sentence in your book. This is where gold is discovered.

When looking to ensure the success of your projects on the “Big A”, there are four areas that must be satisfied before you begin working. They are:

  • Niche Viability
  • Competitiveness
  • Subcategory selection
  • Keyword research

Most failures or successes on Amazon come down to where you market your products. Even bad products make money when they reach a receptive audience.

If you’re looking to create non-fiction guides, you’ll need to understand who your audience is and how to reach them. Luckily, Google offers a lot of free tools to help you do that.
