There are lots of theories related to picking a niche for online marketing. There really is no 100% guarantee inherent in any of these theories.

Exploring the Four Main Niche Categories
Internet marketers consider most products and service niches to fall into the following four broad categories. The following four marketing categories will be profitable throughout eternity:
- Health
- Passions
- Relationships
- Wealth
Those are the four fundamental motivations that drive human beings. They equate to safety, emotional wellbeing, companionship, comradery, security, accomplishment, and self-esteem.

- Broad Subjects
- Community
- Products and Brands
- Solutions
Diets fall under the following category of health. How you frame your category in relation to a niche segment is very relevant.
The term diet is a broad health-related subject. However, a specific diet, for example, the Ketogenic Diet, is a popular program with a built-in community.
There are specific products and brand names supporting the diet concept. Specific Keto plans can be offered as a solution and packaged directly to consumers.
