The Republican party currently has no position on climate change or environmental stewardship. They scrapped the idea of a political manifesto alltogether during the 2016 election.

They won't even support their own cap and trade policies that seemed like a reasonable idea decades ago.

It would be really nice to have a political system that was focused on civil service rather than a support structure for billionaires.
