Your Body, Your Plan: The Need for Customized Weight Loss
That may sound shocking, but kids' cereal radically changed my life back in the 1960s. Since then, body fat issues have plagued me for the rest of my life. I started out as a skinny kid. Food was basically an afterthought for me until I hit around age 10–11. That’s when I became a Kellogg’s cereal addict.
As a father, I watched my two skinny baby boys go through the same metamorphosis at around the same age. That was one reason why I got into covering health, fitness, and wellness issues as a content provider.
The Bite-Size Truth
Most people don't talk much about how sugar and processed foods affect body fat in polite company. We love food for many different reasons. There’s culture, tradition, emotion, and even social status involved in eating.
Foods are chemicals, and chemicals affect people differently. Some of us are total carb addicts, while others have no trouble avoiding Lucky Charms as an evening snack. Food is only half the issue when it comes to body fat issues.
